Trieste Next International Academy Fellowships is a 3-day intensive program that will take place in Trieste, on the occasion of the 2025 Edition of the Festival of Scientific Research, promoted by the Municipality of Trieste, the University of Trieste and ItalyPost.
The Academy Program is specifically designed for BA, MA and PhD students and offers the possibility to attend the 14th Edition of Trieste Next, thus granting access to:
over 60 talks, conferences, workshops with renowned scientists, researchers and professionals
3 special sessions on artificial intelligence/robotics, medical sciences and biotechnologies and Physics/Quantum Mechanics
guided tours and visits to renowned science research centres based in the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region
The Trieste Next International Academy is open to international English-speaking students. All activities will be held in English.

Important Notice – Program Name Change
Starting from the 2025/2026 academic year, the name of the study program will change to “Biotechnology for Industry and Health” (Class LM-8 R – Industrial Biotechnology).
All updated information, including the teaching schedule, will be available on the program’s official website.
Students enrolled in previous years will continue to follow the curriculum in effect at the time of their enrollment.

We bring to your attention this course organized by an association of students specialized in biotechnology and bioengineering, which aims to provide the knowledge, skills and network needed to transform scientific discoveries into concrete solutions for patients, through the creation of entrepreneurial initiatives or commercial licenses.
Students of the Master of Science in Biotechnology who are admitted to the course will be recognized 2 CFU as Elective courses following the certification of actual participation in the course and the presentation of a final report.
